Copyright & DMCA Policy
This page is a placeholder. Full legal copy will be added before launch.
Overview
follw respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects creators and users of the platform to do the same. This page describes our policy regarding copyright infringement and how to submit a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
This document is a stub. The full Copyright & DMCA Policy — including the designated agent details, counter-notice procedure, and repeat infringer policy — will be published here before the platform opens to the public.
Creator Responsibility
Creators are solely responsible for ensuring they have the rights to all content they upload and publish on follw. Uploading content you do not own or have permission to distribute is a violation of our Terms of Service and may violate copyright law.
follw does not pre-screen creator content but will respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on follw infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice. To be valid under the DMCA, your notice must include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- A description of the material you believe is infringing and its location on the platform
- Your contact information — name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
Please send copyright notices to our support team via the contact page. A designated agent address will be published when the full policy is in place.
Response to Notices
Upon receipt of a valid takedown notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and notify the content provider. We may also terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
Counter-Notices
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice. The procedure for counter-notices will be detailed in the full policy.
